Emmy London recently opened their new flagship boutique on Fulham Road, right in the heart of Chelsea (postcode envy).
Founder and creative mastermind Emma Scarterfield, has an obsession and passion for shoes that can be seen in all of her exquisite collections. When it comes to bridal and event fashion, Emmy London have a glorious selection of hand-crafted and delicately embellished shoes, accessories bridal belts and bags.
The new boutique boasts a ‘Couture Room’ where you can book an appointment with Emma herself, here you can create your very own bespoke item. The Couture Room (or shoe heaven as I feel it should be renamed) features a large moodboard filled with sketches, fabrics and templates, perfect for design inspiration.
Emmy London’s intricate designs take inspiration from a variety of era’s, seasons, architecture and artistic styles. With the opening of the new boutique, Emmy London launched their new collection aptly named, ‘The Chelsea Collection’.
This beautiful range of hand-beaded shoes showcase a variety of botanical inspired beauty taken from London’s famous Chelsea Flower Show. In true Emmy fashion this collection oozes glamour, sophistication and fashion-forward style by mixing tradition with a contemporary edge. Mother of Pearl, Swarovski crystals along with soft blush shades and Italian leather ensure that each and every piece exudes pure luxury.
My favourite from this collection are the lipstick red, suede ‘Beatrice’ heels. I featured these bold beauties in my Valentines day blog piece. If you are looking for a statement shoe, look no further! I adore the vibrant colour that would perfectly contrast against any white or ivory wedding gown.
Emmy London also design and create some of the most intricate, beautifully designed and elegant accessories. ‘The Chelsea Collection’ presents a variety of stunning hand-beaded items including an ethereal Gold Daisy Pin Drape and Gold Teardrop Demi Halo headpiece that creates a cascading waterfall effect down your hair.
